History: Flutterfly Bay was named for the huge butterflies that call this bay their home. Many of the ships (air and water) are inspired by these butterflies. Flutterfly Bay is the port city for the Faerie Federation. They handle the trade with other nations so as to keep Faeringtherie as secluded as possible. Flutterfly has a republic council and also a merchant council which together make decisions and laws for the city.

Description: Flutterfly Bay is a large city, many of the structures (houses and busineses alike) are built to resemble a butterflies cocoon hanging off a branch. Flutterfly Bay is a merchant city and busy year-round. Not only does it boast many seagoing vessels but is well known for its airships as well. The city is split into two sections called the Landings and the Fritillery. Landings is the docks area for both seagoing and airborn ships. It also includes some merchants, inns, and Flutterfly Bays powerful navy. Fritillery is where the main residents of Flutterly Bay live. Fritillery is a word to say a large congregation of butterflies, and it is very fitting as the people of Flutterfly Bay wear very bright colors and similar patterns.
